Take a memo. From ITO Bindery, the beloved Tokyo masters of Japanese paper design and goods since 1939, come the smart, smooth, and—dare we say—eternal memo blocks, for their architectural shape that nods to a geometric simplicity that we can’t really place in any one time period, past, present or future. And that’s the most characteristic Japanese aesthetic: functional beauty that’s built to last.

Hasami Porcelain is designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto in Venice, CA, and made in Hasami, Japan, from a combination of Hasami clay and unglazed porcelain, fired at high temperatures for a lengthy period of time to achieve their signature textured finish. Due to its organic material and distinct environmental influences at the time of firing, each product actually develops its own character and patina over time. Designs are stain-resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe, and easy to stack, following the same principles of modularity as traditional Japanese tiered boxes.
